INFANT FEEDING GROUP – FREE to all !
* PLEASE NOTE, OWING TO THE PREVIOUS VENUE CLOSING, I AM NOW LOOKING FOR A NEW VENUE AND SO CURRENTLY HAVE NO DATES LINED UP. AS SOON AS I KNOW I SHALL POST DETAILS HERE AND ON MY FACEBOOK PAGE *
Two evenings every month I run an infant feeding group , which is a drop in to see me, either for ongoing feeding information and support, sleep discussion, attachment, bonding, parenting questions, or simply to meet other parents to chat and share experiences. My scales will be there too if you would like to weigh baby. These evening sessions will be open to baby with Mum and /or Dad, plus companion if wished, and are group sessions. Antenatal mums and dads are welcome to join us too. If you are an existing client taking advantage of a visit to the group to access some follow up, please feel free to let me know if you are planning on stopping by, and if you are a new family and you’d like me to have some details about you before you drop in, you can complete my client history form here. There’s no obligation to complete the form. Group sessions are clearly no substitute for one to one consultations, but there is no pressure whatsoever to see me privately – the group is a great place to be and hopefully we all get something from it!
As they let us use the room for free, it would be nice if you wanted to provide them with some custom by buying a drink at the bar before you come upstairs, but there’s absolutely no requirement to do so – and in hot weather they have brought us up jugs of water for the thirsty breastfeeding Mums, they are so lovely!
Dates of upcoming infant feeding drop in sessions are below:
20th December 2018 – infant feeding drop-in FREE
27th December 2018 – infant feeding drop-in FREE
3rd January 2019 – infant feeding drop-in FREE
Education Room, Ground Floor, Women & Children’s Unit, Blackpool Victoria Hospital, FY3 8NR
Next group to be advertised as soon as I have a new venue!

NEW!! UNDERSTANDING COLIC, REFLUX AND FOOD INTOLERANCES FOR MILK FED INFANTS WEBINAR – NEW!!

Book the colic introductory webinar here for just £5.
Here’s some feedback from a recent live session: “I attended a talk last week with Shel. Really enjoyed the evening. Shel answered all my questions and more. I’m due to have my 4th child and I’ve had problems with feeding, colic and milk intolerance with all 3. I feel much more confident and aware of how to deal with any of these problems if they arise with number 4. I would 100% recommend you attend the next event: the information on hand is invaluable to parents. I have in the past been to doctors, hospital, I’ve tried various products and nothing really helped, I just felt like I was doing something wrong. Shel goes through many scenarios and provides you with the knowledge, understanding and support to enable you to deal with these problems and more, should they arise. Thank you Shel.”
The introductory workshop was held online 7.30pm 23rd May –and is just £5, payable on booking. The more in depth session was held on Wed 6th June – book here (for those not registering for the introductory webinar). Get in touch if you are interested to know more.
